Good news! Guizhou Xijiu won great results in the 2024 National Industry Vocational Skills Competition and the National Liquor Taster Vocational Skills Competition

Recently, the 2024 National Industry Vocational Skills Competition and the National Liquor Sommelier Vocational Skills Competition with the theme of "Craftsmanship builds foundations and skills open up new situations" were successfully held in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province. More than 210 contestants from all over the country competed on the same stage and showed their talents. The Xijiu team won great results in this competition with its excellent tasting ability and solid professional qualities.

The competition was approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and co-organized by the China Food Industry Association and the China Employment Training Technical Guidance Center. It aims to promote the spirit of craftsmanship, encourage workers in the liquor industry to pursue skills development and serve the country with their skills, promote technological innovation and scientific and technological innovation in the liquor industry through skill improvement, and comprehensively enhance the professional quality of the industry's workforce.

The competition is divided into two parts: theoretical competition and tasting and evaluation ability competition. The theoretical questions comprehensively cover the key links and technical points of the entire industrial chain of liquor production and brewing; the tasting and evaluation ability competition sets four core competitions with high standards and strict requirements, totaling 11 rounds, including aroma and taste identification, liquor quality grade identification, reproducibility and reproducibility identification, and international distilled liquor quality grade identification, etc., which comprehensively test the professional skills and adaptability of the contestants. After fierce competition, the competition finally selected 8 first prizes, 18 second prizes, and 24 third prizes. Among them, Liu Gangde and Yuan Guigang of Xijiu Co., Ltd. won the first prize, Jiang Ye and Hu Danxia won the second prize, and Yin Haiyan, Sun Youlan, Lv Li, and Yang Junxian won the third prize.
