Exchange Seminar between Xijiu Group and the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University

On August 30th, Xijiu Group and the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University held a symposium at the Operation Center's 202 meeting room. Both parties engaged in deep discussions and exchanges on further deepening cooperation, promoting the construction of the Junzi Culture Research Center, and establishing student practice bases.

Present at the symposium were Dean Wang Tianfu of the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University, Party Secretary and Director of the Junzi Culture Research Center Ouyang Qin, Deputy Dean Sun Xiulin, Deputy Party Secretary Li Bangxi, and other members of the party and government leadership team; General Manager Assistant Liu Anyong of Xijiu Group, Party Committee member and Discipline Inspection Secretary of Xijiu Co., Ltd., as well as General Manager Assistant and Director Jiang Maoping and Chen Ping of Xijiu Co., Ltd.

Wang Tianfu's Speech

Representing the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University, Wang Tianfu expressed his gratitude for Xijiu's warm reception. He noted that Xijiu, with its Junpin culture as the corporate culture, possesses the spirit of a gentleman and a craftsman's dedication, steadily advancing in production, quality, safety, and environmental protection, maintaining a leading position in the industry. Tsinghua University, with its motto "Self-improvement and Virtue Bearing," inherits the educational philosophy of "Cultivating talents with sound character who serve the country and society." It adheres to the academic style of "Rigor, Diligence, Truth-seeking, and Innovation" and the school ethos of "Action Speaks Louder Than Words." Both parties are continuously striving for excellence. This exchange is not only a fusion of knowledge but also a collision of wisdom, surely igniting new momentum for both parties' continuous development. The School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University will advance the work of the Junzi Culture Research Center as an important task, and the young teachers of the college will actively participate, deeply interpreting the value and significance of Junzi culture in contemporary society and national development, promoting Junzi culture to the world. In the future, it is hoped that both sides will maintain close interactions, long-term cooperation, and everlasting friendship.

Ouyang Qin Introduces the Progress of the Junzi Culture Research Center Project

Ouyang Qin stated that Xijiu and the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University are highly compatible in the research and dissemination of Junzi spirit and culture. The Junzi Culture Research Center, established in March 2024, is the crystallization of their cooperation and also a bridge and link for their exchanges. Both parties have successively collaborated on activities such as the academic symposium commemorating the 150th anniversary of Liang Qichao's birth and the 109th anniversary of the publication of the "Junzi" speech, achieving good results. In the future, the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University will spare no effort to advance all work of the Junzi Culture Research Center, actively exerting research functions, highlighting educational functions, enhancing transformation functions, and improving dissemination functions, to form a series of research results, create influential brand activities, explore and develop cultural and creative products, and cultivate a Junzi culture ecosystem. The Junzi Culture Research Center will establish an academic advisory group, conduct basic research, and promote educational dissemination work, making positive contributions to the inheritance and development of Junzi culture.

Liu Anyong's Speech

Entrusted by Wang Diqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Chairman, and Deputy General Manager of Xijiu Group, Liu Anyong extended a warm welcome and high respect to the leaders, teachers, and students who visited Xijiu on behalf of over 15,000 employees of Xijiu. He stated that Xijiu highly values its cooperation with the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University and hopes to establish a long-term mechanism of mutual visits and mutual support, maintaining lasting friendship. Tsinghua University and Xijiu share common spiritual cores in terms of culture. Strengthening cooperation with Tsinghua University helps explore new mechanisms and methods for technological innovation and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements through school-enterprise cooperation and integration of industry, education, and research. This enhances the company's research level and innovation capabilities, laying a solid foundation for the transformation and upgrading of Guizhou's liquor industry; it also helps shape the Xijiu brand image, enhancing Xijiu's fame, reputation, and overall strength. In the future, it is hoped that both parties will further advance cooperative projects, form a series of research results, jointly create influential Junzi culture brand activities, and actively disseminate and practice Junzi culture.

At the meeting, representatives from the Junzi Culture Research Center of the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University, including Deputy Director Xu Zhihao, Director of the Strategic Development Cooperation Office and Deputy Dean of the Institute of Social Governance and Development, and Secretary-General of the Junzi Culture Research Center Xiao Hongying, as well as research group secretary Hu Tianyu, and others, along with General Manager Assistant Jiang Maoping and Deputy Minister of the Party Committee Publicity Department (Youth League) Xia Lu of Xijiu Co., Ltd., made exchange speeches. Both sides focused on the inheritance and development of Junzi culture and the key work of the Junzi Culture Research Center, engaging in extensive and in-depth discussions.

Prior to the meeting, a delegation from the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University visited the Xijiu Culture City, the Sealed Jar Wine Cellar, the Liquor Production Workshop, and other places. Through listening to explanations and visiting exhibitions, they gained a practical understanding of Xijiu's development history, corporate culture, development strategy, social public welfare, brewing techniques, and other aspects. After tasting the sealed jar old wine and the base wine of different rounds, they gave high praise to the quality of Xijiu.

Representatives of the faculty and students of the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University participated in the above activities, and leaders of relevant units of Xijiu Co., Ltd. attended the symposium.
