The 2024 Junpin Xijiu China Go Team Invitation Tournament Concludes Successfully

On October 11, the "Way of the Gentleman: A Meeting of Go and Wine" 2024 Junpin Xijiu China Go Team Invitation Tournament came to a successful close, with an award ceremony held at the Xijiu Business Experience Center.

The award ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Nie Weiping, honorary chairman of the Chinese Go Association and a renowned Go master; Ma Xiaochun, China’s first Go world champion and a prominent Go master; Cao Dayuan, honorary president of the Shandong Go Association and a well-known Go master; Wang Dimiao, president of the Guizhou Go Association; Zeng Fanjun, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Xijiu Group; and Jiang Maoping, assistant general manager of Xijiu Co. Other attendees included representatives from participating teams and various media.

The clash of black and white stones on the fragrant land created a stunning visual tapestry of mountains, fine wine, and the joy of Go. After two days and five rounds of fierce competition, the Shanghai Pudong Go Team claimed the championship, while the Guiyang Chuangzhi Team took second place and the Changchun Yunlong Feixiang Team secured third. Distinguished guests presented awards to the winning teams during the ceremony.
